T mobile stores only carrying 16gb models

I called my local T mobile stores and they stated they will only be selling the 16gb models. Is this true of all carriers or is this a T mobile thing?

Safe to assume most of the stock will be 16gb, but I doubt they wouldn't have at least a few 32/64

I'd rather them have only 16GB models at launch than only having 32GB models at launch.

I know a couple of years ago BB only carried 16gb that'd when I started buying directly from apple.

Would you be getting the new t-mobile iPhone? Which has the same coverage as android phones?
And also would you be able to "jump" when you're ready to upgrade even though you haven't paid the phone off entirely?
