I'm doing the T-mobile free trade-in (or in my case $250 since I have a 5s). My understanding was that I could return it either in a store or ship it back, but I went to a store and they said I could only ship it back. Here is the issue: suppose I ship it back and they don't accept it for whatever reason. In that case I have pay the full price of the iPhone 7, which I don't want to. So, I can return it: but what is the window for returns? And they still keep my old iPhone, so I don't have a phone. All this seems very tricky.
