well what a surprise I called t mobile to unlock my newly paid off iPhone 5c, which I was getting rid of after seeing in perform poorly with iOS 9, I sold it. The 8gb. and they actually unlocked both of my phones. The iPhone 6 is the one that's unlocked.

I didnt know that was possible. And I thank them very much

So What do I do now?

All kinds of things happen here and there. Nothing all that unusual.

As to what you do now...in what sense are you asking that question?

You know I've never been able to get an iPhone unlocked by a carrier before. You always had to pay it off or there was some restrictions. Etc

But now it's unlocked just like that.

I never thought I'd get this far.

I didn't finish paying off this phone. And I'm going to upgrade to the new phone, so do I just keep this phone because it's unlocked now?

So just bc its unlocked does not mean you stop paying for it.

I suggest you get dinner....maybe some starbucks if you are into coffee. Watch a movie too. While you are watching the movie, use your unlocked iPhone to search interesting facts about it?

Or since its unlocked, go overseas and use it?

I didn't know this was possible though. If they did it once. They can do it again right?
