Carrier T-Mobile Update Carrier Software? Help Pls!

Im on T-Mobile! Finally but it is complicated because i just moved to this Carrier and its actually Asking me for an Update with the Carrier (Tmobile)
NOT THE IOS 8.

So its asking me to actually Update the Carrier Software.
Will this make any trouble in the future?
I'm with Tmobile just moved in with it today and barely got my phone!
Finally! After so long!

Well my question is, is it safe to update the carrier version?
will this not mess up my future unlocking for iPhone 6 unlocking for other companies?

When I first got my phone that update came up. Updated just fine. Haven't had a issue jail breaking.

Carrier updates on GSM phones are safe, they will not cause you any problems.
