I am not sure if this is a legit, but we now have some details about T-Mobile's $100 promo referenced in Apple Watch Series 7 orders start Friday, October 8, with availability beginning Friday, October 15 page.
Customers can buy Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) directly from apple.com/store or at an Apple Store and get $100 back when they activate it with T-Mobile/Sprint or Verizon.
By activating $10/month unlimited data plan for smartwatches through T-Mobile, you should be able to apply 2021APPLEWATCHRETAIL1 promo code at T-Mobile's promotions redemption page. You should get $100 prepaid MasterCard 6-8 weeks later, at which point you can downgrade to $5/month 500MB data plan for smartwatches or even cancel the plan altogether.

I called Verizon today about this and personally decided against it, not worth the hassle plus you may want to check with your carrier if you except this offer on how soon you can cancel. I have previously had cellular hooked up on my SS that I am trading and was not impressed. I work from home and actually never ever go anywhere without my phone so to me adding the line was never worth it. I actually wish you could purchase the SS without cellular.

I already have cellular watch service with T-Mobile. And even if I didn't, the way the carriers drag out the monthly bill credits is bait and switch as far as I am concerned and the debit credit is not something I am interested in.

I had no idea there was a 500MB option for the Watch!

Verizon use to have one for the $5.00 per month plus tax but when I called today they told me it was not available. It may be available for T-Mobile and Verizon but the rep I spoke with stated there was only a $10 per month option. I don't even have unlimited Data for my phone line since I do not use much.

You just use the prepaid card to make a payment on your T-Mobile account in the amount of the card. Easy peasy and as good as cash. If you don’t owe anything it lets you go to a negative balance and offsets your next monthly charge.

Here is the actual, final text on the Apple site in case someone is looking at this thread for information later on.

Make sure you all keep up on it, my iPad promo was cancelled for no reason. I had to get Tmobile just to give me a $200 bill credit

Looks like you can buy any gps+cellular AW, not just the 7
That may be true but they discontinued the 6 already so that is not an option so you’re left with a 7 or one of the old/nerfed ones.

With the iPad data promo you can cancel your plan once the virtual card arrives. However, you have to call customer service and they usually make the cancellation effective at the end of the billing cycle. I’m not sure if you can cancel the Paired Digits plans online.
