It kind of reminds of how F1 cars could've ended up looking after all the safety discussions after Imola '94, that the wheels should be covered, and so should the cockpit etc etc.

Though with the advent of the 1200+bhp Veyron, 500bhp doesn't quite cut it does it. heh.

But doesn't the Veyron only have 600bhp per ton?

It looks completely like a LMP, although to actually be a LMP (even in the LMP002 class) they'd need to add 250kb of ballast (that's 50% of the car's weight!)
