I've replaced my hard drive a couple of times in my mid-2009 13in. Every time I've done it I've removed the mounting screws with precision needle nose pliers because I do not know what size the mounting screws are. They are absolutely not T6/8/10. I have no idea why the mounting screws are smaller than the normal T6 considering they are original hardware.

Anyway, to the point. I have to replace my hard drive again and I want to make certain I don't damage it using the pliers. Does anyone have any idea what size the mounting screws are if they aren't T6, I'd prefer to just buy a single driver instead of a completely new driver set?

As far as i know, they are T6, ifixit guide used T6. You sure you didn't bend them in from using the pliers?

Positive. I tried the T6 before I ever took the pliers to them. And even now they should be fine, doing it with the pliers didn't take much pressure.
