T616 Better than T68i???

I own the T68i, and after enough people have complained about the sound quality, "you sound like you are in a bathroom," and the slow, slow, slow UI, I'm looking for a new phone.

I want to stay with SE, and am considering buying the T616, but I am worried that it will be no better than the T68i.

Questions for those who have used both:

1. Is it faster at scrolling and general UI?
2. How is the reception?
3. Do you get a lot of dropped calls?
4. Do people complain about the sound quality
5. How well does it sync with the Mac?
6. Anything else?

In case you weren't aware, the t610 and t616 are identical. The only difference is that the t616 has a frequency difference to work better on U.S. networks.
