Hi, I have a MacBook pro (purchased in July 2009) currently running OSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion. I've noticed that my tab key stopped working for indenting bulleted lists in one particular Microsoft Word document, though I have no problem indenting text and the tab key works in every other application I have tried.

I have reason to believe that the key itself is not the problem, but I cannot figure out why it won't work in Word. I am running Word for Mac 2008 and I have never experienced a problem like this before. I used Word just last night and did not have this problem.

I opened a second MS Word document and was able to indent the bullets once again. Is there any way my file could have been corrupted without my knowing of it?

Thanks!

Ignore this post, I figured out the problem. I somehow disabled the 'tab' function in my document when I was trying to re-set the margins. I don't know how to delete this thread.
