Hey guys, just wondering if it is possible on a mac to use the tab button to switch between different options. I've included an image to explain myself a bit further:

I just wanted to know if this is possible on a mac as it is on windows, or is it a OS thing?

Thanks in advance!

yes, that'll work. ( but you could have tried that yourself....)

Funniest thing is.....I have, a it didn't work, I was wondering if there was some kind of setting I had to turn on...

but thank you for your reply anyway...

Many times, Command and the first letter of the option you're wanting to select will work. Like in a Save/Discard/Cancel box, Cmd-D will discard. This doesn't always work, and perhaps especially not with dialog boxes where two options start with the same letter. But it might be worth a try.

you can, but you need to enable it in the keyboard shortcuts tab in the keyboard/mouse system preference.

alternatively, the above poster's suggestion works. from the dialog box, simply hitting "r" will restart, "s" will sleep, "esc" cancels and "return" shuts down.
