Pixel Qi : Mary Lou Jepson's hybrid computer screen blends the best aspects of both laptop and e-reader displays
Is this the supplier for the Apple Tablet screen??

I'm hoping for this, and this feature would actually make it usable as an e-reader in terms of battery life and eye strain. One doubts if the quality of these screens is up to apple's level at this point though.

I see this screens in some other prototypes, and it looks great, when you want to read something you can switch to eInk mode and read it in a more comfortable way.

But I don't think that Apple will use it in his tablet, IMHO it's a very new technology, and it would be a risk to put such an untested screen in the new product. But maybe I'm wrong :D

Possible - it's going to be this or equivalent. Some of the videos from PixelQi seem to indicate big sales in 2010
