About 125 people are viewing this forum at this time, this is far fewer than those who anticipated MacBook Alu introduction, let alone iPhone one!

It's because most americans are still asleep and most europeans killed themselves because they couldn't stand waiting any longer.

Or maybe a lot of people aren't that bothered?

I'm sure the numbers will go up closer to the time.

I think the difference might be that no one knows what it's going to do for them, unlike a notebook or mobile phone. :)

120 is a doubling of what it's been for the past week.

arn and other contributors haven't yet put any threads, or links up or mentioned the tablet sub-forum - expect that to change...

If you're interested in numbers - check out how many are in the forum by looking at the bottom of the forum main page.

I agree. I'm interested to see exactly what's coming but nothing I've heard in the rumours so far makes me want to rush out and buy it.

Not long to wait until we can see what it actually does and doesn't do. :)

OK I see 8,551 logged in, so I take that back. That's excellent for an unknown entity. If I recall correctly, there were more than 30,000 viewing before the first iPhone lanunch. ;)

No Macrumorslive means nowhere near as many people looking at this site for information.

That record will never be beaten, unless Arn reinstates the live feed.

Heh. It's been murder here in blighty, all kicks off at 6pm. Work went slooow today. My reward will probably be, "Available in Europe, Q4 2010". AAAARGH!

Yeh I'm the same mate, I'm in Ireland. As much as I can't wait for this tablet announcement today, it really really better be a worldwide release. USA in march and Europe at the the end of the year would be shittttttt.

Totally! I'm hoping that the prospect of an unsubsidized model means we may indeed see it worldwide. It'd be a massive anti-climax otherwise.

If it was to be released later this year here and importing is impractical/out of the question, I'd probably see sense and then wait for the inevitable Rev B...so it'd be 2011 for me :( :(

Many MR members don't even know this new Apple Tablet board already exists. People might think it will be up after today's official announcement.
