What's up with the Tagalicous app not being updated since Lion came out? It unusable, does anybody have an idea when it may be update, they claim Apple hasn't approved the update yet but I'm not sure I buy that.

Buy Directly from Developer!!!

I read one of the reviews and it said that you can buy the app directly from the developer, "Little App Factory." If you download it from their website, it comes out to $14.99 (not $9.99) like it says in the App Store. The version from the developers website is updated for Lion OS X!

I have already organized my library of 2000+ songs (approx 15 gigs of music). During use, it crashed three times. The more songs you select at once to tag, the more likely it is that the app will crash. They are not always perfect though, but I would say that 85-90 percent are tagged PERFECTLY - not too shabby in my opinion and you always have the option of rejecting Tagalicious' recommended tag for each song ;)

They released an update yesterday for Lion support. They had to remove Lyric finder to comply with Appstore.

The removal of lyrics is a huge step back for the app, it's the only reason I bought it and from the response on the app store, it was a major feature for many other users.

Thankfully I still have the previous version although it's extremely slow and crashes very often (and it looks like it doesn't run on Lion?). Without the lyrics there's no way I'd recommend the app any more.

And to add insult to injury, the web page for Tagalicious still prominently mentions the lyrics feature. Come on, that's just sad.

That's because the version that you get directly from the website still has this feature. I beleive they had to turn it off for the Appstore version in order for Apple to accept it. So you could always buy it from the website and have a better version and would have had Lion support 1 month earlier than those that bought the Appstore version.

I love reading the comments on the app store about this thing. Everyone is SO upset about not having lyrics....

Anyways I had a simple question. How much extra space is my iTunes library going to take up now that 90% of the songs have metadata attached to them?

Thanks
