Tags are a great feature, but I'm finding that adding and removing tags from files creates all kinds of problems making them effectively useless. The problem is illustrated below:
1. I have files with multiple tags applied and mixed together. Sometimes I would like to add a tag to all, or remove a shared tag from all.
![]()
2. However, when I try to remove the tag (I simply selected and deleted "Projects"), it will apply all the other "mixed" tags to every file, which ruins the whole system:
![]()
Is there a setting I'm missing? One thing I noticed is that Hazel is able to create a new tag and add it to a list of mix tagged files. However, manually this simply adds every single tag to all of the files.
