take a snippet out of a m4a podcast

i have a podcast thats 145mb. m4a

i want a 10 sec part of it cut out of it...so i can send a buddy. anyone know software that i can do this with please?

You can use mp3 trimmer to do the job, but it doesn't work on m4a but you can convert the m4a to mp3 first with Max . Both are really good pieces of software and free.

Open in Quicktime and use Trim.
