Long story short, my PowerBook G4 finally met its death, and all my music wasn't backed up properly. All the music I really want is on my iPhone 3G, but I'm having a problem finding a free program that will allow me to take this music off of my phone and put it on my new MacBook. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A program called iPod Access.

I just used it too take all my music and videos off my iPhone. its £11.77 but its amazing...

if you have a jailbroken iphone pass it to your new computer via ssh an the names will be scrambled but when you import them on itunes they will be just fine and that way you won't lose your information like times played and that kind of stuff :)

+1 for Senuti. Does not get easier or cheaper than that.

SSH? Scrambled song names? LOL.
