I haven't seen this in any demos or if it has been mentioned, but do you think there will be a way to take screenshots on the Watch?

Most likely by pressing in the crown and contact buttons simultaneously.

But would that take an image of what is on the watch or the phone or BOTH like in a dual monitor set up? Hmmmmm

yes, it is possible to take screenshots on the watch, they are automatically added to your iPhone camera roll

I had the same question. Just seems like it wouldn't be very comfortable pressing the crown and the contact button at the same time. But I'm thinking that's hows its gonna go.

Thumb on side of watch opposite crown. Index and middle fingers on crown and contacts buttons. Squeeze.

I think it's safe to say Apple wouldn't let us have the Watch without the the ability to show it off on social media, and the fact that it has 2 buttons instead of one kind of confirming it. :)

I think it would be more like it'll be added to your iCloud Photo Library.

Developers are told they must use the watch to take screenshots of their apps for the App Store, so I would expect...

It's funny how Apple markets the watch as a complimentary device to the iPhone and I keep seeing more and more threads popping up asking if the watch can do what the phone can do.

It's not a iPhone on the wrist. It's supposed to be limited in function. I seriously hope Apple doesn't go in that direction and complicate the watch OS even more until we see lag and bugs because of too many added features.
