Hey all, I've got an iPhone 3GS in the US and I'm moving to Argentina in a few months and will be staying there for probably 6 months. Will it be possible to sign up for a short contract with my iPhone down there? What do I have to do to be able to use my iPhone there? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

You'd have to jailbreak and unlock your device and then you can use a local pay as you go SIM. Only downside is that you'll still have to pay 6mo of service to AT&T, unless they can suspend/extend your contract for 6mo.
