As someone who likes to enter a sauna a few times a week I’m wondering if this would be a good idea, as in if the AW can take the heat?

Am also wondering if there are any reputable apps that could either determine the temp. of the sauna I’m in, or at the very least if it would calculate my heart rate while I’m in the sauna.

I saw an app for iPhone called HotLog that can track sauna sessions but it’s up to the end user to input sauna temps. and humidity percentages.

Just wondering.

I’ve used my Series 6 in the sauna and jacuzzi, BUT I have it in a Catalyst watch case—which is waterproof. As far as temperatures go, I haven’t had the thermometer icon appear as an overheating warning, if it does I’ll just take it off and leave it out of the sauna. So far no problems at all.

Generally not a good idea, for any watch. I suppose there are some that can take it, but I wouldn’t risk it.

There was some discussion about this a few years back. General consensus was that it is not safe to take them into Suanas/ Hot Tubs. The hotter temps allow water to pass through the waterproof seals and can cause internal damage to the watch.
