iPhone 14 Pro Taking forever to restore... memory amount used not changing

Backed up my iphone 11 to my macbook. updated the new phone to 16.0.1. it made it to about a 1/3 and never went past that after an hour or so... also i noticed after all that time it reported the amount of memory used on the new phone never changed. i know i have a TON of photos and videos and a bunch of apps. trying again but it is soooo slow and barely moving... and again memory amount not changing. anyone else see this but have it actually complete?

Leave it overnight and see how it goes. My iPhone restore can take legitimately 8-12 hours, not including a separate process to restore the media, which will be another 8 hours.
