Can anyone tell me whether or not I can bring and use my iPhone 4 in Australia. I am currently in Ireland and will be moving to Darwin In Australia. Thanks

of course. Go with Optus for the phone network, they seem to be the best :)

Just don't bring it in the box or you might get charged tax for it.

Telstra have the fastest network with easily the greatest coverage. I'd go with them in the NT as the one thing you'll need up there is coverage - it's a long, LONG way between towns. The price might be a bit higher and the customer service is abominable but the network is rock solid.

Optus are OK, they charge a fair bit less for their plans but the network can get pretty crappy sometimes. Coverage is nowhere near as good.

Vodafone, 3 and Virgin suck. Don't go with them.

Thanks guys appreciate the advice. I will ckeck out Telstra.
