I am taking my Mac Book Pro (that i've had for a little less than 2 months) in to the Soho Apple Store. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.....first, my Top case isn't properly connected to the bottom case right above the start button. Basically, it lifts up a little and it's enough for dirt and dust to build up. When I first noticed it, I thought maybe the screw was not in tight enough and I unscrewed it and then screwed it back in. Will Apple give me a hard time if they notice that some screws have been removed and put back in? I know companies are finicky when they see that something has been opened since it voids the warranty, however, I didn't "open" the case, I just removed a couple of screws and put them back. I wasn't going to take it in since the computer works, but I figured that I spent $2500 for this machine and i'm entitled to a machine that is put together properly, and the Apple store is only 3 blocks from my office. My second questions is if they will do anything to fix my airport. I have read many post about people having trouble with their airport not connecting when waking up or when rebooting. I am having these same problems and the only way for me to get it working is to either disable the Airport and then re-enable it or to reboot the computer. Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
