Hello,
A friend of mine has an old MacBook Pro (Penryn I think), and he dropped it down the stairs and cracked the screen. He recently got a new computer, and offered to let me have the old one. I was wondering if there was any way to completely remove the screen (as in from the hinge up) so I could connect it to my TV without worrying about ventilation problems. Is there any way to do this? Could I just disconnect the cables and turn it on and be functional connected to my TV?
Thanks
