Is there anyway to take screenshots of a window that also removes the window border on the top and bottom?

I've tried both screen capture and grab but I can't see anyway to remove the border around the window and just capture the contents inside the window.

I need it to be precise. I've been using command-shift-4-spacebar for the entire window and then using photoshop to take off the window frame but it's tedious doing that every time.

Don't use the spacebar. Just Command-Shift-4, then draw the box inside the window frame, so you don't capture the frame in the first place.

Taking Screenshots in Mac OS X

By the way, Preview is a much lighter tool than Photoshop for cropping, resizing, annotating and other basic adjustments to pictures.

I appreciate the replies but I need this precise, pixel for pixel.

Perhaps it would be helpful if you could describe what you're trying to accomplish. What kind of windows are you capturing, and for what purpose?
