Taking Video on the iPhone 4 question

So I have made 2 videos on my iPhone and what I have noticed is that while I am recording and I turn the iPhone, the camera doesn't turn either. So my questions is, if I start recording in portrait and turn the camera to landscape, while recording, is it the camera suppose to switch to landscape or does it stay in portrait and record sideways.
