General Talking to Siri in “natural language”

Any idea if this is something we can expect soon? I mean I’m not sure why it should be that hard to teach Siri that when I say “Hey Siri, ask mum if she’s coming over tomorrow” I don’t actually want it to send my mum a text that literally says “If she’s coming over tomorrow” which is what it does at the moment...

I feel like Siri is so close to being great, just little things like this. I’ve never tried google assistant so maybe this is common across them all?

You can get Siri Shortcuts to map your phrase to something else, so for common phrases it will work quite well. The separate Shortcuts app has more options for customizations.

You can get the Google Assistant app and see if it works any better.
