Hello,

Anyone know what tests are used to trial the M1 battery? I keep seeing crazy hours posted, but not really seeing this personally.

It's good but not insane. I'm actively using the computer, no graphics, just Xcode or whatever, few tabs in Safari.

Any examples of test scripts I could try?

I also have seen claims of 18 hours on MBA. I have got maybe 14-15 hours depending on what I am doing but it is hard to judge and I am just going by estimated time left after I have been using for a while eg. last night I had 78% battery and activity monitor said was 12 hours remaining. Depends on what I am doing but am not complaining about battery life at all.

Apple states up to 15 hours web surfing using your Mac in the same manner Apple did, which isn't really conducive to real world use, in my opinion.

If you are happy with your battery, then don't worry about what other people are getting. Their use isn't the exact same as yours.

Trying to find battery test scripts is a waste of time.
