I have several AirTunes speakers around the place (i.e. airport express connected to a active speaker). for example one in our gym which is in an outhouse. when in gym use remote app on iPhone which connects to house wifi to select music and sent it to the speaker in the gym works great.
my question is sometimes when I'm in the house id like to send a message like your dinner's ready to my sons who are in the gym or your friends on the phone etc.
is there an app that allows me from my main iMac or from a ipad/iphone send my live voice to an AirTunes speaker? preferably on top of whats going there or temporarily instead of?
could i use AirTunes speakers as a tannoy system?
