tap in the middle of a word to move cursor?

hey guys

on android, u can tap in the middle if any word and the cursor would move just there for u to edit or whatsoever

how to make the possible on iPhone/iPad without having to press and hold for the magnifier to appear?
a jailbreak tweak even maybe?or any other way

It just takes a moment for the cursor to move there on iPhone.

Try the jailbreak tweaks SwipeShiftCaret or SwipeSelection -- they don't work exactly as you're asking (tap to move cursor) but do allow for much quicker and still very accurate cursor placement via gestures

SwipeSelection is the way to go, very fast and simple to use

Swipeshiftcaret is the way to go if you're a heavy, fast texter.

After using both, I think I prefer SwipeShiftCaret. SwipeSelection was nice but it doesn't work in all apps, does get in the way of my texting sometimes, and also prevented me from sliding from quick shift/sym use (tap on shift/sym --> slide to character you want to modify --> auto revert to previous keyboard)
