Tap to Wake in Nightstand not working in WatchOS10

I just updated to WatchOS 10 on my SS S5 and tap to wake does not seem to be working when on the charger. On Apple's support site describing nightstand mode, it still lists Tap to Wake as a feature. Anyone else experiencing this?
