I currently have a new S6 and older S4

The difference in taptic engine's is massive, the S4 is much stronger than the soft feeling of the S6

Anyone else notice this ? When using the crown wheel the clicks are nowhere near as punchy

Its the opposite. Crown yes, it's much more subtle, like a real watch. But notifications have so much more punch it's a lot better!

Not sure the crown uses the taptic engine, I think it has it's own haptic feedback, since it also generate some resistance.

When comparing haptic feedback, I also think it is important to note if the it is standard or prominent setting.

I use prominent myself on S4 and it is strong enough for me to always notice.
