Copenhagen.
Hi peeps.

Well this is odd (or what?)

I live in Denmark and ordered a Macbook Pro 15' (hi res glossy) that shipped two days ago. This morning it arrived in Koeln, Germany - and I was well happy - but then it suddenly went back to Shanghai in China.

Anyone tried this before?

Ps. I only orderes the MBP and no extra stuff.

In danish, but you see the point:

Shanghai, China 04-03-2011 2:29 Scanning ved afsendelse
Koeln, Germany 03-03-2011 10:44 Pakkedata behandles af indfortoldningen. Afventer klarering.
Shanghai, China 03-03-2011 17:10 Eksportscanning
Shanghai, China 02-03-2011 18:50 Scanning ved ankomst
02-03-2011 18:44 Scanning ved afsendelse
02-03-2011 15:46 Oprindelsesscanning
China 02-03-2011 23:20 Ordren er blevet behandlet: Klar til UPS

It did not arrive to Germany. UPS' office seems to be located in Germany and your data was simply processed in Germany. Same happened with my MBA.

I sometimes don't understand the logic of the delivery services. I ordered RAM and HDD from Newegg via 2nd day UPS yesterday. They are in Orange County. I am in Portland, Oregon. The package was scanned in at Brea, then Ontario (like 30 miles away), now it was scanned in at Dallas this morning. Huh? They traveled further away to get to Dallas than to get to my house..

It is due to ship from Shanghai to Ireland for me...

So when do they charge upon despatch or upon delivery?

- Somewhere in between. I recently purchased a 15" MacBook Pro. It dispatched this monday, and the funds were drawn from my bank account today. I haven't recieved the computer yet.

Why is this important to you?
