Target Disk Mode not available?

Hey,

I just got my new MBA with Thunderbolt. Unfortunately it doesn't show the "Target Disk Mode" option in System Preferences => Startup Disk. (Even if it's connected via those $50 thunderbolt cables).

I have connected it to a iMac 2011 27". Any ideas would be great!

Just restart holding down "T" like you normally would for Target Disk Mode.

I have not been able to test this but have read several reports that it works as expected.

I don't know maybe it is a bug, or Apple forgot to update the Preference Pane for Thunderbolt. But the "T" key always works.
