I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to get target display to work with multiple monitors, when daisy chaining devices together. I have a MB Pro connected via thunderbolt to an iMac, which is connected to a second thunderbolt display. When activating target display mode only the iMac display is used for the MB Pro. The second display continues to act as a second monitor for the iMac. Ideally, I'd like to be able to have 3 screens when using my MB Pro (MB display, iMac and thunderbolt display) and be able to use 2 when using the iMac (iMac and thunderbolt display) without switching cables all the time. Is there a way to pull this off?
