Only a few stores show stock...yet they are not even open yet! How can others be out of stock?

I can't vouch for their accuracy, but I know last year not every store received stock. Some threads here indicate similar has happened at some Walmarts this year. It might be possible not all Targets got launch day stock. The definitely aren't all getting all 18 SKUs, the store near me didn't have everything.

Mine appears to stock only the 16GB Wifi model Was hoping for at least a 32GB.
