Hello,
I have just installed the latest drivers for the Tascam US122MKii in order for it to work with Mavericks. I have also updated the firmware. I use Logic Pro X and garage band and have a Mac book Pro. The tascam hardware was working fine with OS X 10.6, but, now I cannot get any input ports therefore Tascam and Garageband are not talking to each other, so not getting any sound though MIDI interface.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I don't have a fix for you, but I feel your pain. I've had two Tascams -- great as they were -- die on me (122 and 144) after a year of use each, so I stopped buying them.

The Apple guy told me that they don't recommend using Tascams with Macs. He said the Apogee Duet is the one they're backing, but that's too much $$ for my needs. So, I just stopped recording at home and go to friends who have pro-grade equipment, and bring it back home to work on. Not convenient, but this is 2013 -- what is?

I've heard good things about the Focusrite Scarlett and may give that a try.
