Has anyone else seen their Task Killer go into panoramic mode?

I thought it was weird because I had an app in landscape mode and the task killer popped up like this, but I couldn't get it to go back into portrait mode. It wouldn't pop up in landscape mode unless I had an app open and in landscape mode (I couldn't just sit on the home screen, turn the phone to landscape, and get the task killer to pop up like that). Just seemed odd at the time.

If that's the case, horrible design. the task killer layout should always stay vertical no matter what orientation your are in.

Yes. Please explain the horrible design. You're looking at the screen in landscape mode, therefore it makes perfect sense that the screen previews match the phone's orientation.

What is shown in the "preview" is the last recorded picture of the app, so maybe tapatalk was seen in landscape mode while others were still portrait

Some apps don't go to lanscape mode but they are still shown that way. Those should be dispayed in portrait so that the user can capture it easier/quicker.
