Also why does Creative Cloud use that much resources?

Try disabling the new screenshot gimmicks from Mojave. I disabled it since the first day. Don't know about Creative Cloud, but some resident third-party apps really consume a lot of battery power. I have disabled OneDrive, unless I deliberatelly want to sync something.
