This is definatly the closest thing i have seen. Still not quite as deep as tasker, but they have the right idea.
When my buddy pulls up to my house (with his tasker enabled android phone) his phone will see my wifi network and automatically send me a text alerting me he has arrived (I know he is here before he ever knocks on the door), automatically point his browser to our fantasy football page, and set all his settings appropriate for being at my house (brightness, ringer level, etc etc).
When he gets into his car his phone will see his Bluetooth head unit and automatically adjust all his settings to be in "car mode" pull up his music player, turn by turn app etc etc.
It will actually change his home screen based upon the profiles he has set. Based upon the information his phone is already collecting applied against his pre defined rules his phone will always be configured correctly based upon where the phone is, what it is doing, and what other electronics the phone is connected to. It's really impressive, the controls are very deep.
I hope they guys behind myprofiles can take their app to this level.
