Since tax is based off of shipping address, what would be the cons of having the iMac i7 shipped to a relative in a non sales tax state then having them ship to me?? Ca tax is around 180, shipping from relatives place is 60 dollars...saves me 100+
 
I mean, I don't think it gets you out of the legal requirement of paying tax, but Apple wouldn't charge you. I see no problem if you are trying to avoid Apple charging you.
