tax-free window almost over...need to decide

I ordered two machines, but neither have shipped yet, so I can cancel either one. They are both $1299 tax-free refurbs. Which one is the best value?

13" MBP 2.53, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD, SD Slot, etc...

or

15" MBP 2.4 (late 2008 model), 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, 9400 and 9600 (256mb) graphics


Machine will be used for basic home use, with some photo editing using a 19" external monitor.

I'd keep the 13". It should def. have enough grunt for what you are doing, plus when it's not connected to the 19" monitor you can take it nearly anymore due to it's size. Plus you get the new battery and an SD slot which could come in handy depending on if your camera uses an SD card.

base 13" has the best bang for the buck.
