Especially since you haven't even specified which tax jurisdiction you are in. Do you deal with the IRS, CCRA, HMRC, ATO, etc

So... let me be the first to say.... "Yes, absolutely. Write it all off." In fact did you know that you can even write off any fizzy soft-drinks you consumed while studying, but not if they were also also caffeinated, unless the calorie count was below the remainder of your net income/# of days you studied x 1.345%. Unless you resided in QC for at least 33 days, in which case you can subtract whatever calories you consumed from poutine from the figure in line 345 above.
