I am wondering if anyone is seeing this or if something weird happened in a repair:

My 2016 MPB TB was having keyboard issues, so I took it in and they replaced the entire TB/Keyboard mechanism with one from a 2017 model. I brought it home, flattened it, and did a clean install of the OS.

A week later, I have noticed the following:

- machine goes to sleep with lid up
- I wake machine up by hitting the spacebar, the TB lights up and I get the animation for TouchID
- I put my finger on the scanner and the entire machine freezes up
- I hard reboot and now the machine has forgotten my fingerprint entirely, I have to set it up again.

This has happened repeatedly. So...I'm checking to see if anyone else has seen this kind of behavior before I take it in again for a replacement.

Had this issue as well. It was related to the USB-c port.
I fixed it by plugging my hardware into another port.
