I actually like the touch bar in my MBP, for the most part, apart from one thing: my ears have exploded several times thanks to my clumsy hands:

Most of the times when i want to change the volume i just hold down on the speaker icon and slide my finger across to change the volume.

Sometimes though i tap on the "volume up" icon next to the slider and a couple of times i made the mistake of tapping just a tad to far to the left of the icon and thus in 0.1ms raising the volume to the max. It sounds like the built in speakers gonna explode if i happen to have some music playing but whats even worse is when i have headphones on, it feels like my eardrums gets exploded into my brain by the sudden shockwave from sound of the headphones...Yes, its my own fault but kinda strange default behavior of that slider.

So, am i to clumsy or have you guys also miss-tapped and got the explosion level of sound with the max volume? Am curious to see if this is a problem or not and if Apple should mitigate this somehow, maybe not allow the "scroll to position" on the slider.

I’ve used my 2017 work computer for over a year and usually wear headphones while at work. I can say I’ve never had that happen and not sure how it could happen with the applications I use (seems like it takes multiple touches to occur but that’s going from memory). But maybe I’m just getting lucky.
