tbMBP 15" 2016 display problem

Sounds like I have to either to sell or trash this notebook(because of ifixit rating).
Do you think this problem is under guarantee coverage or no?
(white area on the black screen)
Could they repair it nice or I should just to relax, what do you think?

Is it not under warranty? If you're concerned about anything I'd just take it to Apple and ask them. I don't know what the problem is but I'm sure Apple's staff would be more than happy to discuss it with you. Sure beats throwing it away or selling it?
