Here's my situation:

I have the following computers to be networked:
- Apple iMac
- Dell Desktop (with wireless n card)
- xbox 360 (fo shiz counts)
- Acer Laptop

and the following network equipment:
Apple Time Capsule (-> TC)
D-Link DGL 4300

The iMac and right now the TC are sitting AT the houses ethernet connection (in the basement). BUT, the dell desktop and the acer laptop are both on the top (3rd) floor. What I want to do is setup the TC as a WDS Base station and have it broad cast the signal to the iMac and the DGL 4300 (which will be on the floor above it) and have it act as a relay to the acer laptop and the dell.

So all is well and good, I set up my network, adjust the airport settings accordingly. I had to connect the dlink router to get the wireless Mac Adress, so I did, and I added that to the WDS list in the Airport Utility through the iMac. The Wireless is now working fine (on the iMac so far) but Airport Utility says: "This device is set up as part of a WDS network but no other Apple wireless devices were found."

Does the other router need to be Apple's?

Can anyone offer me any help?

Thanks
Joe
