A lady purchased an iMac at CompUSA, and paid for training. CompUSA asked me to teach her.

Now, she's knows virtually nothing about computers. She did just get Comcast though, but she hasn't turned the iMac on yet.

So I have 3 hours to teach this lady as much as possible about using a computer and the internet.

What should I cover? How should I cover it?

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

1. Give her a full understanding of the finder, and how to save, move, locate, rename, burn files. I think that is the basis for everything.

2. Go through all the system prefences.

3. Show her the basic apps.

I'll definitely have to bookmark Mac101 on her computer for future reference!
