I have yet to see it come through on iTunes when checking for update.
 
i think the site is jumping the gun. i dont see any update available an no other site is reporting that.
 
whoever paraphrases articles for that site did a poor job at it. it basically sounds like the gizmodo article which states that applecare told them (on several occasions) that the upcoming patch won't resolve the vulcan grip issue.
 
There's not even a beta or anything on the dev site. It is fairly insulting that Apple says their software "fix", which won't fix what is most certainly a hardware problem, will take "weeks" and that they've made little or no mention of all the other problems that have surfaced with the new system. You know what all this points to? That their "developer test program" doesn't work. Shut it down.
