TechWoven owners - your experiences so far with drops/protection etc.

So I bought a TechWoven case but it's still sat in the packaging after reading a few posts recently on here. Saw one post where someone claimed they dropped it from 4ft and the corner of the case was crushed and another (maybe the same guy) saying they dropped it and the lower part of the screen smashed.

One other thing I'm wondering - apparently the lip/edge on the front isn't very high and so if you use a screen protector it'll sit level with the case and mean there's less protection. Is that true?

For those of you that use a TechWoven, how's it holding up?

Had my phone fall off the arm of the couch earlier today face first onto the hardwood floor. Probably no more than 3ish feet and no damage to the phone or the case. I dont use a screen protector either.

No drops on to hard surfaces, plenty off the sofa onto the carpet though.

I have a glass screen protector on and with the TW on it sits at the same level. The lip isn’t big at all, but when I place my phone down, I always put it screen down (always have), there is no gap between surface and case.

Yes, there is a lip, I wear an screen protector and I can still see the lip.
The case is awesome, my favorite case in years.
