If you go with the $80 per month plan you get the iphone for $80.... not that bad...

however for a average person paying $80 a month is just too much...

And the plans just suck, I mean 400 minutes and a 200 txts per month? and only 100mb of data per month? that is just ridiculous on my opinion... too much

I'm with you, is too pricey, maybe paying 600 bucks for the 8GB at a prepaid plan would be better a deal.

yeah, i think that would work for more people....

you from mexico?

Do you know if it will work the same way as in the united states where you have to buy and get a contract right there and then with telcel?

Watching too much Lou Dobbs' broken borders segments.

It's cheaper for Mexicans to pay a human smuggler to get themselves into the US than pay the Mexican iphone plan rates.

How does this compare with other rates there? Looks like it is probably somewhat inline with them?

I tried to look myself but not being fluent in spanish doesn't help.

After a brief chat with some friends in Mexico, they seem to approve the pricing. They mentioned that there is not a big buzz about it but that may change.

I wish I could buy one there and BRING IT here.

F**k lou dobbs
F**k the stereotypes

150 meg of data???

These plans suck! I live in Guadalajara and these plans just plain suck ass! Telcel/Carlos Slim have never been known to be very "forward-thinking" and it shows with the data plans. I think to get the unlimited data added-on ( up to 3 gig) it costs another 60 bucks/month.

Isn't that the whole reason to have the iPhone anyway? It's the data, stupid!
